Lease offer requiring big down payment
This is the vehicle I'm shopping for and there's a promotion for another 2 weeks but it requires a big down payment. I read on here a bunch you guys overwhelmingly suggest to only put first payment and fees down. Is there any way I can take advantage of this offer with less money down and higher monthly payments? This is the offer:
$321 PER MONTH LEASE
FOR 36 MONTHS
Altima 2.5 PLATINUM AWD WITH SPLASH & MATS
Excludes taxes, title, and license. $3,399 initial payment required at consummation. (Includes $3,078 consumer down payment, $321 first month payment.) (INCLUDES $475 manufacturer's rebate applied to $321/Month lease. Offer valid only when financed through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation.) Subject to residency restrictions.

You can structure the lease however you want.
Don't be surprised if the offer from the dealer is a lot higher than advertised. It's not an actual offer.
