The M35xi is a great car. The only problems with the car are that the headlights do not project out far enough, the parking brake warning light is too small and not that noticeable (a few of my friends have the car and noted the same problem.), and the gas mileage is not great (19 around town and 23-24 at best strictly highway). I have had the car 39 months and will get something that is a little better with gas mileage(2009 Mercedes C class, 2009 Audi A4 6 cyclinder, 2009 Acura TL, or maybe a 2009 Maxima). Enjoy the M35. It handles great and is fun to drive.
A reporter from a large finance magazine is looking to speak to consumers who just purchased a new Infiniti M35. If you’re interested in speaking to the reporter, please contact Chintan Talati at ctalati@edmunds.com with your daytime contact information no later than June 23, 2008.
I too recently purchased M45 Sport, 2006. It had 32,800 miles, looked like it came off the show room floor, clean, even still had new car smell. I traded in a 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS with 96,000 miles. I got $5,000 trade in, put $10,000 cash and financed $9,500.00. I paid out the door under $25,000.00. I purchased the Infinity extended warrenty package for 2,900.00. Good for up to 100,000, 5 years. The car is silver with black interior, fully loaded with all options available that in that year model. I have only had the car for 2 weeks but it drives great. I think I got a good deal but who knows for sure, I felt good with the deal, I guess time will tell. Did I make a good decission?
