I have 1 93 ford ranger 5 speed the other night I went to start it pushed the clutch in and turned the key and all I got was a click. Not from the battery but sounds like by the door or right inside the engine compartment. Any ieas? may the clutch relay?

Could be a dead battery, or loose battery connection, or corroded battery terminals, or dead battery, or defective starter solenoid, or a bad starter----or various wiring issues amongst all those components.

I would start with the battery terminals and + and - cables and check both ends of both of them. Battery must be fully charged, so check that or put the battery on a charger.
