OMG!!!"02 Sequoia electric locks NIGHTMARE on Detroit St

02 " Sequoia locks and unlocks rapidly whether car is on or not. Now tailgate is closed and will not unlock from master switch or with the key in hatch lock. How can I remove hatch panel from the inside. PLEASE HELP!!!

    As for why the locks are cycling on and off, that's going to require some diagnosis. It could be a bad sensor in the driver's door, or it could be a faulty micro switch in the tailgate that has become ultra sensitive. It could be that the wiring harness going from the body to the driver's door is chaffed at the door opening (from opening and closing so often). Maybe pulling the fuse for the automatic locks will at least give you some time to diagnose further or take it in for repair.

    A professional scan tool might help to isolate the problem with the locking system.
