I just changed myself rear struts of my Lexus RX350, on TRQ struts. What caused clunky noises?

I even changed both new links, still heard clunky and rattled noises. What should I do? Are TRQ bad struts? Should I buy used OEM struts to replace them? Help!

    You mean you heard the same noises before you replaced the struts and that didn't solve the problem?
