Certified Pre-Owned 2016 Ex-L Accord vs New 2019 Ex-L

Looking to get thoughts on purchasing a cpo accord vs a new one. Either way would go with an EX-L with the base engine. Internet price before negotiating for 2016’s are between $19k and $20k for cars with approx 16k to 20k miles and clean Carfax records so appears to be a $7k to $8k discount versus a new 2019 EX-L. Also looks like Honda is offering 1.49% on the CPO vs 1.9% on new for 36 month financing and the same 2.9% rate for both new and CPO for 60 months.

This car will only be driven about 3k miles per year and expecting to keep it for many years.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

With so few miles driven each year, I'd go for the CPO version, unless you really want the 1.5T of the new model, and all the latest technology.
