Noise in the front passenger door

A few days ago a very loud on and off 'Bird" noise started coming from what seemed to be in the front passenger door. Like a bird got caught in there..Go figure. Doesn't
make it all the time; it started a few days ago. Any ideas??

    You'll probably need a volunteer to put their ear down there while you're driving to help locate the noise. Could be anything, really. If it is indeed coming from inside the door, then you'll have to pop off that panel and explore further.

    You might also check to see if that door closes tightly, or if there is some give when you tug on the door from the outside. Adjusting the door striker plate (the part that the lock contacts in the door jamb) might help in that case.

    You could also just lubricate the striker plate and see if that helps.
