    FWD

    .00077 and 55%

If the Nav/RES are part of the XLE Premium package, then the residual drops to 52%

That MF is much lower than that of the Odyssey. Is that a special rate for the month?

I'm comparing the estimated leases for 2019 Sienna XLE Base and 2019 Odyssey EX-L Base, both with Edmunds TMV of about $34k. However, the est. monthly lease payments for the Toyota are significantly higher than the Honda - about $525 vs. about $385. Given the better MF, why is Toyota so much higher? Is it the residual? (Toyota=55%, Honda=60%)

The residual accounts for some of the payment difference.

But, $140/mo is a big difference. See if you can get all of the numbers for each quote, then we can compare.

I actually got these numbers from Edmunds lease offers page. I think they are just estimates and not sure what the details were used to calculate.

I think I'm ready to make a deal. Normally when buying (loan), I would field offers from the internet sales managers of my local dealerships then pick the best one. How should I approach this when it comes to leasing?

Same approach will work, but be up front about your desire to lease. Your goal is to obtain the best price.

So assuming the same selling price and no incentives, would you rather lean towards the Honda (MF=.00139,RV=60%) or the Toyota (MF=.00077,RV=55%)?

I'd lean towards the vehicle I'd be happy driving for the next 3 years.

I don't make decisions with other people's money.

And, I've never owned a minivan - my wife always preferred to have an SUV.

    haha. Of course.
What I meant was - which would normally result in a better deal / negotiating leverage?

    I can't answer that.
