My magnum stopped runnin g other day tow truck driver said timing chain. It's actually a belt . So I remove the cover andbiand is got shredded pieces of the belt everywhere but the belt is still intact. Both timing Mark's will not line up. One will while the other is at 2 o'clock position. What did I do?

Well if the belt is that messed up, it might have slipped. Best thing I can suggest is clean everything up, get a new belt and tensioners and re-adjust everything and cross your fingers.

I presume you have the 3.5 engine. Chances are good that your engine will be okay after you change the belt.
