I have a 2009 Ford excape V6 I have a full take of gas but my - readout is telling me I'm only getting a 146 miles per tank why

Couple questions for you:

When you fill up, does it take the normal number of gallons?

Have you calculated MPG the old fashioned way, by setting your trip odometer to zero, filling up, driving until Empty, then filling up again and dividing the gallons you used into the miles on the odometer? What does that give you?

Yes sir I am getting the same When i calculated the old way and now the low fuel light appears  at a 1/4 of a tank it never did that before
