Tacoma steering wheel/ignition lock

My Tacoma steering wheel and the ignition are locked solid, can't turn the key or the wheel. Any idea what is going on?

    Have you tried gently putting the key in, twisting it until it meets resistance, and jiggling the steering wheel vigorously?

    Are you sure you are in Park position?
