A-Plan by Volvo Questions

Hello Edmunds community. I am looking for some clarification on how the A-Plan by Volvo works. I have reviewed all the documentation on their website (aplanbyvolvo.com) and it seems to offer a set pricing off msrp (base a plan price) and also a $1,500 "elite bonus". Would the elite bonus be considered a cap cost reduction (like the Infiniti VPP program)? Below is an image with further info.

    We don't have any insight as to how the $1500 is applied. Perhaps someone who has used the program can jump in and contribute.
