Oil leak

My beetle has developed an oil leak it seems to be coming from between the gearbox and the engine I was wondering if there was an easy fix or do I have take it apart cheers Arnie.

    Is it from the center line of the engine, or is the leak offset to one side or the other when it drops to the ground?

    could be your oil cooler, under the fan shroud.
