Radio loses memory.

I recently purchased an 08 Sebring convertible. It has the original radio which plays fine except that when the ignition is cut off and the car is restarted, the unit has lost it's memory. It defaults back to AM and loses all my pre-sets. However, The clock does not lose it's time so that would seem to rule out the possibility of the constant current wire or fuse being the problem. Anyone had this problem or have any ideas what might be the issue?

If your radio has a "demo" mode, make sure that is shut off. You may need the radio manual to see how to do that.

Otherwise, there are some YouTube videos that suggest fixes but I can't vouch for them. Always take precautions when working with your electrical system.
