will a tranny from a 2001 f250 superduty work in my 2000 super can it be reprogrammed no one seems to know what the difference in the two is but according to my mechanic it is different but does not know the reason why it shows up as different on a nationwide search

    Possibly the best answer would come from a wrecking yard that has the Hollander Interchange Database.
