High mileage lease

Hopefully this hasn't been discussed too much previously. I couldn't easily find a thread.

I drive around 25-30k a year and was wondering what folks think about doing a lease in this situation ? I am looking at either an X3 or the 2019 330ix. This is my work vehicle so that is why the high mileage. I know that I would have to pay for the extra mileage up front as part of the lease payment.

I like the idea of turning it in after 36 months and having warranty and maintenance included for a good portion of the lease.

Does this make any sense to do ?

Thanks in advance

You might check with sales at BMW to see if they do business/fleet leases. They may have a program that is better than the standard consumer lease.

For a normal lease, adding extended warranty and maintenance out to 75K miles will be expensive, in addition the mileage. $2800 for maintenance, and probably a similar amount for warranty. Your total might be $13000 over 36 months, in comparison to a standard 36/15 lease. (including mileage to 75K) So, a $650/mo lease might be $1050/mo with the extra miles, maintenance and warranty (36/25)

Yikes...thanks. I will call BMW and ask about the business lease just to check if that is an option.
