Will dealers haggle over a bogus destination fee? (Civic LX 2L)
Just got back from the dealership, no purchase. When I walked out we were at $21,000 flat for a new LX 2 Liter (final price, no trade in). I really don't know much about car buying and told them as such (later my wife said to never say that to a rep again
)
I have documentation from them and they verbally said the price is good for the month, but the $1,299 destination fee seems...high, based off my quick internet search. Everywhere else I see $920. I figure if I show up tomorrow then they'll assume there's no need to haggle anymore and stick to 21, is this worth fighting over? Is this price even any good?
