I am planning to lease 2020 ascent limited in zip code 94118.

Dealer quote:

MSRP: $43787
Selling price: $38849
Residual: $244082
MF: .00115

Asking $3000 down and $488.86 per month.

36 month lease. 15k miles.

Overage fee: $.15 per mile.

What is your advice?

These numbers are definitely based on a 2019 model not a 2020. They havent released the rates or residuals for the 2020 yet.

The Dealer Discount looks really good. The buy rate for the money factor is 0.00065 on this lease. That means they are making money on the rate (Most likely to make up for the aggressive discount they are giving you).

Tell them you wont sign unless they lower the money factor to buy rate.

You sure it's a 2020 model? We don't have any lease programs for the 2020, this month.

What does the $3000 cover?
