Calling Los Angeles-based car shoppers: Have you recently traded in (or plan to trade in) a car with negative equity (i.e. the amount you owe on your auto loan is greater than the car's value)? A reporter would like to speak with you; please reach out to PR@Edmunds.com by 11/6 for details.
lease ending
My lease ends at the literal end of this upcoming year, December 30th 2019, and while I would love to lease the same model again, they recently announced they would stop producing the model by 2019. This is the first time leasing as I've always bought pre-owned, do I have any options or loopholes in extending my lease as to give myself more time to looking for alternative make/models? Especially since when I leased, at right before the beginning of 2017, the dealership and my research never mentioned the model being in discussion of ending production...

You can certainly give the bank a call and ask about an extension of a few months.
But, why wouldn't you be able to find a replacement in the 5 months between now and the end of the year?
