    Initial payment was at $690+ then i countered and after few hours of back and forth, the above was what they offered. Does the number make sense?

    I get $625/mo, as well.

    However, I show the base MF as .00047 for the Q5.

    Tell the dealer you won't sign anything unless you get the base MF; the hike is adding over $50/mo to the payment

    Don't quote the number - they know what the base rate is.

    Just tell them you want it or you'll find a dealer more accommodating.
