Hi everyone. I wanted to get some input on a deal i am working on right now on a Telluride SX (FWD)

$44,190 MSRP, after options @ $42960 total
with the $2200 rebate applied, price comes to $41,990

dealer is tacking back on the $2200 (actually $2280) under 4 categories called GPS, Poly Steel, Nitrogen, Red Alert bringing the purchase price back up to $44,270.

The lease payment sheet is showing
$0 down $698/month
$2500 down $619/month ($2500/36 = $69.45/month) so that is $688.45/month over 36 months
$5000 down $543/month ($5000/36 = $138.89/month) so that is $681.89/month over 36 months

Clearly I save a few hundred if I put the down payments on there, but I don't know, the monthly cost still seems kind of high.

What are you guys paying on a Lease (with option to buy) on your Telluride trims?

Also, any success getting the Doc Fee or other fees removed from the deals? Doc Fee shows $499

Paying over MSRP and $700/mo. for a $44K MSRP vehicle?

    Why?
