Test drive out of state

My son graduated college and will be leasing a new car. He's currently in NY, but will be moving to Atlanta in a month. He wants to test drive some cars now to decide what he wants. Then he would contact Atlanta dealers, make his deal, and have the car ready for delivery in Georgia when he moves in. How should he go about test driving at dealers he has no intention of patronizing?

Or, is there a way to buy from a NY dealer and take delivery in GA?

Sure he can.. He can tell them he is trying to narrow down his choices.

Don't go on Saturday at Noon, or 30 minutes before closing..
