Hi, I'm getting the following deal from a local dealer (60527) for a 2020 330 xi with 3,800 miles on it:
MSRP = $47,995
Lease-end Value = 58.23% ($27,947)
Term = 36
MF = 0.00137
Total Sales Tax = $1,589.18
Init. cap cost = $42,250.00
Total Add Cap Costs = $1,225.00
Rebate Amount = $2,750.00
Adjusted Cap Costs = $42,314.18
Base monthly rental = $523.45
Total Annual Fees = $301.00
Total Initial Fees = 25.00
Amount Due At Start = $849.45
Total Monthly Payment = $523.45

I am confused about the annual fees, added cap costs and how do they come up with $42,314.18?
Also, that same car is listed for sale for $38,796.

I'd greatly appreciate your input here in helping clarify this. Thank you.

1. Selling prices for purchase and lease may have different incentives, so different prices
2. The annual fees are the registration costs
3. The initial cap cost has the following adjustments - add tax and the additional cap costs ($925 acquisition fee and I'll guess a $300 dealer fee), then subtract the rebate. That equals the adjusted cap cost.
4. The residual is adjusted by .25/mile ($950) for the existing miles.

Feedback? You want 15-18% off MSRP, before the rebate; you are getting 12% off. Ask for a selling price of $39K and see what they say. That would shave $80-90/mo off the payment.
