Warranty coverage for slightly-used Certified Pre-Owned CPO Subarus

First-time used Subaru buyer, here. I'm looking at some 2019 Subarus that are Certified Pre-Owned, have about 2,500 miles on them and have clean CarFax's.

Am I reading correctly that buyers of these cars get:

- Basic Warranty for 3 yrs / 36,000 miles (the original warranty, date from original purchase)
- Powertrain Warranty for 7 yrs / 100,000 miles (the CPO warranty, date from original purchase)
- plus other smaller warranties that came with the original warranty

So while saving about 3 thousand dollars off a brand new car, I also get the powertrain warranty extended by 2 additional years and 40,000 miles, all while losing only the first 9 months and 2,500 miles or so from the original warranties? Seems too good to be true, wanted to check with you.

Thanks!
Mike

mikepokercat, you are correct on what you said about the Subaru CPO Warranty. One thing I would add though is that I hope you added the CPO Wrap Around warranty to match the powertrain warranty. This would protect your car's electronics, especially if your car has the Subaru Eye-Sight.
