I would like to keep the car for 3 more years as it is a great car. What are the pros and cons for releasing this same car. I do not want to have the car more than a total of 6 years so I do not want to buy it and then have to sell it. Your feedback would be appreciated.

You can't extend your current lease for another three years.

Your options are to turn it in, and lease a 2020 A5, or to buy it out at the agreed upon price (which could be higher than the current market value).

Firstly thank you for your quick response as it is appreciated. Do dealers offer leases on used cars? Based on my lease I could buy the car for $30k but I would only keep it for no longer then 3 years and then have to sell it.

It's possible that Audi has a CPO lease program, but we don't have any details on it. And, you'd have to return your car first, then turn around and lease it.
