Why start a lease with $5K up front?

I confirm .00137 and 57%

In VA, we recommend you skip the cap reduction, and roll the taxes and fees into the payment.

Putting that much up front doesn't change the cost of your lease, but it does mean that you risk losing it if the car is stolen or totaled.
