Deal Installed Add-Ons

I'm currently looking at Volvos. Almost all of the dealers in my area do significant add-ons to the MSRP. Many between $1,500-$2,100 in total additions (wheel locks, mud guards, scotch guard, etc.). What is the best strategy (what do I say) to keep these items out of my deal?

Ignore them, and make your offers as though they don't exist.
