Buying in WA & Registering in CA, where I live

I understand that CA wants their pound of flesh so to speak. Will it be cost prohibitive to buy a 2007 Lexus LS 460 and register in CA? I know sales tax will be at least 7.25% for CA. However,I’m more concerned about EPA requirements for a car not originally sold in CA. Thanks so very much.

You have to register the car and pay sales tax where you live.

Most recent vehicles are 50 state compliant, when it comes to emissions. But, you'll have to do some research on whether this particular model is.
