Both my husband's and my lease is up. We are looking at leasing again, and here's what the dealer is offering-

1) 2020 CX-5 Touring AWD (white with moon roof)
MSRP: $31, 095
Rebates/discounts/incentives: $3580
Selling price: $27515
Residual value: 54%
MF: .00012

36 months/15K/no money down - $359 per month total including taxes and everything



2) 2020 CX-30 Premium AWD
MSRP: $29365
Rebates/discounts/incentives: $3585
Selling price: $25780
Residual value: 58%
MF: .00099

36 months/12K/no money down - $325 per month including taxes and everything

These seem high to me. Do you think we should be able to get closer to $325 and $290? Thanks for your help!

What is your ZIP code?

You'll need to get about another $1000 off the selling price to achieve those payments. Not sure if it's possible, but it can't hurt to try.

Have you shopped multiple dealers? That will be the best way to know you're getting the best price.

Repeat customers, I've learned, don't always get the best deal. I'd shop around, just to be certain.

Are those quotes with no money down or no money due at signing?

They aren't the same thing.

Hmm, well I said we weren't putting anything down and they said Mazda financial is making the first payment so I'm not really sure. It seems that we don't have to pay anything up front and when we sign?

I'd confirm all of this with the dealer - what you think will happen may not be the same as what the dealer thinks the dealer will happen.

The lease can be structured any way you want - we generally recommend that you pay the first payment and registration costs when you sign the paperwork.
