fees and charges added to Monroney MSRP window sticker

I'm about to purchase a new car in Central Florida. What fees and charges should I either pay or not pay that may be added to the window sticker price? Doc Stamps, transportation costs, dealer prep fees, VIN etching, etc etc? Which ones are a dealer rip-off and which are legit? Thank you for your help. Brad

Any state mandated registration costs are legit, though FL dealers are known to mark up the electronic processing fees.

There will also be a pretty hefty dealer fee ($400 to $1000) - those are pretty much worthless to you and you should negotiate a lower selling price to offset it.

VIN etching is also worthless.
