I guess Acura is looking for a new customer base?

I have leased five Acura TSX/TLXs since '07. I currently pay $330/month on a base '18. Lease is up in December so had them give me a few numbers..

2021 Base = 36 months / 7,500 miles per year / $1207 drive off / $549 per month inc tax
2021 A-Spec Red interior = 36 months / 7,500 miles per year / $1365 drive off / $650 per month inc tax.

The '21 could come with a Hollywood 10 and I still ain't dropping that kinda cash on an Acura.

Nobody is getting comparable lease deals to what they had in 2017 and 2018.

And, the 2021 is brand new, so will of course command a premium.

Wouldn't you be interested in a leftover 2020? Acura is trying to blow those out, and we've seen some decent lease deals on them.

I understand there is a premium on a newly designed Acura. I test drove the A-Spec... It's very cool. It is more money than my friend's new Porsche lease. The base would be $219 more than what I am paying now. Look, the market will speak - I just think it makes absolutely no financial sense.. Yes, I am looking at 2020's too. And sadly, looking at other options like a Mercedes A Class or even a Kia Stinger.

And when the 2020 inventory is cleared out, I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see the lease programs become more customer friendly.

It's still a sedan, which is not what most people want at the moment.
