Curious what the sales tax covers - in CA, you pay tax on the monthly payment.

Where are the DMV costs?

The aftermarket charges are pretty much crap - maybe a value of $50 between them. Work to get a lower selling price to offset those costs.

Ask for another $1000 off the MSRP, and see how they respond.

And, tell them why you are doing it - that their aftermarket items have no value to you and you are factoring them out of the deal.
