24hr Lease waiver

Lease waiver states that:
" i give up the right to review my contract for one 24-hour business day before signing. I choose to waive that right and sign the lease now"

It sounds like i cant move forward with signing the lease if i dont give up my right to 24hr review.

Anybody know if i can skip this and still sign the contract?

This sounds like a state specific rule. From the wording, it sounds like you have to wait one day after being presented the contract, unless you sign the waiver. (I'M NOT A LAWYER).

If you want to sign the contract, you aren't giving anything up by signing the waiver. Why would you skip it?

They didnt let me take home the contract to review it so seems im giving up my right to review it fir 24hrs after it is presented. I originally said i want to see everything drawn up and he said they dont do that and nobody does that. I only got to see the contract in the finance guys office. Now this seems to solidify that i cant even review it after its presented. Yes in nj we are given 24hrs to review so it is a state thing.

Take as long as you need in the office to check it over.

If that doesn't work for you, find another dealer.
