Certified Pre Owned(CPO) 2019 RDX

Hi Everyone.
I'm a first time buyer in the market looking to buy used 2019 or newer Acura RDX in Chicago, Illinois. This is my second post in this forum.

How safe is it to own a non certified used car vs a certified pre-owned RDX? Is CPO just a mark of lesser mileage on a car and the manufacturer's extended warranty? I'm looking for a 2019 RDX w/ tech package, AWD and mileages under 35k (budget $30k-$33k).
Most of CPO used vehicles are closer to the $40k mark and are higher variants or FWD.

Should I push and go with a CPO vehicle or a non-CPO used car should also be fine? What are my trade-offs? Any help would be appreciated.

CPO is all about the warranty.
