Lease purchase is $48k

Lease payment: $580
MSD already on the vehicle $5400
MSRP is 58k
Price : 54k

Is it worth taking over a lease and then buying it after or just getting a whole new lease for the same monthly payment? Or just buy it for 48k?

If you want to buy it, is it $54K or $48K? That isn't clear.

How many months left on the lease?

I think I'd hang on to my cash, and take over the lease. That way, you get 24 months to decide if you really want to own it.

Plus I don't have to haggle for a new car lease when this one seems pretty good. I get that msd back at the end.
