How do I negotiate MF?

Hi friends,

I just asked and received an answer that the MF for a BMW 540i is right now 0.00093. My dealer is offering a 0.00133, seems to be maxed out. How do I negotiate? If I tell him "I see 0.00093 from edmunds", I imagine he's going to pull some BS excuse like "oh edmunds is just the base MF and we can't offer that". How do I get around these BS?

EDIT: I'm looking at leasing a 2022 model with a 36/10k (or 15k) term, 0 down.

You simply tell them you want the base rate. No need for you to tell them the value; they already know what it is.

Problem is, in today's market, you may not get much traction.

Be sure to shop multiple dealers.
