Hello,
I was just offered the below lease deal in NJ (08638) zip code. I confirmed with them that they accept the state of NJ employee discount which is supposed to be car sold at dealer cost but they came back with the below. Can you please confirm the MF and RV is accurate. And also should I ask them to itemize the OTD price? What's in that price? Thanks!

MSRP $42,458
Selling Price including the state employee discount $41,958
OTD: $45,969.62
Money Factor: 0.00054
Residual $23,776.48
36 months 12k per year $0 down
Monthly Payment $654.13

    .00054 MF and 56% residual
    No incentives

$0 down, or $0 due at signing?

More information is always better than less information - ask them to provide details that explain the difference between the selling price and the OTD price (acquisition fee; dealer fee; sales tax; gov't fees are likely part of that number).

Thanks for the response. Sorry yes $0 due at signing. I asked them to roll all start up fees into the monthly payment. Maybe like you said the OTD includes all of that? It still seems like a high selling price. That definitely can't be the dealer cost. Right? $500 discount? I was thinking the MF was inflated but since you confirmed that as correct I can't figure out why the selling price is so high. Is it still worth going back to them to ask or just let this deal go ?

Given the current market conditions, that may be the best discount you can get.

Have you shopped multiple dealers? Is this the best that's been offered?

That's true. I was thinking the same. I haven't pressed them to lower the selling price but I'll try.
This is the first dealership I've reached out to. The inventory is really low at my local dealerships so I tried thus dealership about 45 minutes away.
Being that this is an SE model I figured it would be lower price point. I was originally looking at the R Line V6 but haven't gotten pricing on those yet. Kind of scared too lol

Lack of inventory is true, pretty much everywhere.

Good luck with your search, and let us know how it goes.
