    There are so many aftermarket stuff it gets confusing. The deflector i got came with little bumpers, but they only stick up about a quarter inch or so & the deflector is about a inch & a half from my paint. So I did'nt bother putting them on. I've been down the x-way at 75 & only had a little flex. As for grill clearance, it just barely rubs when the hood is closed. I'll give you the info where I got it from. MURRAY'S 6144 WAYNE RD.     Thanks for all of the helpful info. I ended up buying the Bugflector at Pep Boys, and just as you said, it was a breeze to put on, and it looks great (my truck is black too.) I just adjusted the hood bumpers a tiny bit and there was no rubbing, and like you, I didn't bother with the stick-on bumpers. Now, onto the next upgrades! :)
