Hello, I'm currently leasing a 2020 M340. The lease is almost up. I'm considering just buying out the car and wondering if anyone has info on this.

What type of rate can be expected right now? I am in zip 27607
is the dealer able to apply any promotions/incentives/discounts on a lease buyout? or am I completely locked at the "residual value" from the lease?

and other tricks to optimize my cost?

thanks in advance!

BMWFS is not required to finance your buyout. If they will, I wouldn’t expect any incentives, or low rates. The residual isn’t negotiable.

I’d be prepared to find your own financing. Shop around for the best rate.

So there is no benefit at all to working with the dealer?

If your only intention is to purchase the vehicle, I don’t see what the dealer could offer you, other than increased costs.
