Currently looking at a 2018 Mustang GT. It has quite a bit of aftermarket parts. It is the base model with 30000 miles. VIN - 1FA6P8CF8J5163400. Asking Price of $40,991. What's a realistic number I should be at for negotiating-wise? I recently owed a 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack... but it was stolen from me, and now I need a vehicle. The dealer gave me the bill sheet -

Asking Price - $40,991.00
Doc Fee - $150.00
Vehicle Inventory Tax - $84.77
State Tax - $2561.94
TTL - $114.25
----------------------------------------------------------
TOTAL - $43901.96

What stage are the Rouch ad ons? IIRC stage 1 and 2 are mostly cosmetic. A year ago Carvana offered me $30,500 for my 2015 Mustang GT so an18’ should go for more. Most dealers won’t give as much on a trade for a highly modified car (at least the on line sites won’t) so you might have some negotiating room.

The mods are worthless. Plug the VIN and miles and condition into Carvana/Vroom/Autonation and see what quotes come back. Don't mention the mods. Then add a couple grand profit for the selling dealer to that price.

I agree, cosmetic mods can actually detract from value. A stage 3 Rouch has things like super chargers which might add to value for certain buyers.

Do you really want an air lift suspension? Pumps fail. Bags get holes. PITA
