Pontiac Bonneville Power Steering fluid reservoir...just can't find it.
Hi everyone, new to this forum. I am clueless since I need to find the power steering fluid reservoir for my car and I just can't! I've been looking at Youtube videos, my car owners manual, everywhere, and every place describes the reservoir location "under and behind the alternator, near the firewall, on the passenger side". Only problem is It is not there! I'm going crazy about this and I was hoping maybe someone knows an alternate location for it (POntiac Bonneville SE 1999).
Also, from my ignorance, I wonder if someone in the past could have made a mod or something or installed it on a different spot. I understand that this may sound silly but I am really prone at this point of believing anything. Hope that someone can help, thanks in advance!

Look at the pulleys on your car to see if they match the pulley arrangement in cardoc's diagram.
Rarely does the power steering fluid need topping off. A few of the cars which had the Series II 3800 had some problems with leaking around the return hose connection at the power steering pump. That might lower the fluid level, otherwise, they were put low and out of the way because they rarely gave trouble.
