Has it ever been worse to buy/lease a vehicle

Incentives are practically gone, MF/APR are stupid. I doubt I would have any leverage to get any wiggle room less that MSRP. (for [non-permissible content removed] sake, who wants to pay sticker???)
What has history shown in times like these or is this current environment unprecedented? When does the table turn back in our favor? Mods, what say ye? I only chose F-150 as an example. The Lariat I bought back in '16 now costs 15K more today.

Interest rates are higher, across the board, which explains why MF/APR are higher than ever.

Lack of inventory has kept transaction prices high.

No, I've not seen a worse time to lease a vehicle. Better to look into traditional financing - my doctor bought an E350 for his wife for a payment less than what the lease payment would have been.
