But when it comes to names, Sheetz has to be the worst. Bed sheets, three sheets in the wind? That's not what I think of when I see those stations....
WaWa is just moving into the northern VA area (none locally yet). I used to patronize a brand called Swifty in IN in the 70s.
Does anyone remember Red Head? (Pittsburgh area, plus one in Warrenton VA as late as '79 or so).
Diesel - $4.459
87 $3.29
93 $3.49
Diesel $3.99
I'm just grateful this thing is more of a fair weather toy than daily transportation. Otherwise its ~10 mpg local, 15-16 highway would kill me!
87 - $3.249
89 - $3.399
93 - $3.549
diesel... well, it was $4.269 a week ago, but 87 was 3.059 then... I don't want to look.

" I'm figuring since it's supposed to break the 60-degree mark this week petrol prices should shoot up again by Friday. "
Prices went up yesterday afternoon from $3.559 on average for 87 octane to $3.699. The one station that sells E85 on my route to work jumped from $3.599 to $3.759. Diesel is up to $4.389 at most places. Citgos are stable, remained at $3.559.
Oh, we broke into the mid-60s ~ low-70s range yesterday
87: $3.39
93: $3.59
Diesel: $4.09
We filled both Camrys at Hess for $3.25 (87) a couple of days ago. Yesterday, the price went up in 2 steps to the same $3.39 as just about everyone else.
I can see the new diesel cars coming are going to be big hits!
This month I've moved from ~3400 to 401 in the April rankings at the Car Stock Exchange. I don't think I'll get into commodities with real money either, lol.
I dread the day they think of averaging the results of people who work here vs. the "general public." I'm gonna tank the company average, lol.
I have done beta testing for software before and I understand how frustrating it can be for both the testers and developers.
87 - $3.159

Luckily, it was a small increase compared to the Gulf down the road which was
Regular . . . $3.31
Plus . . . . $3.45
Premium. . . .$3.54
And The gas prices @ the Gulf yesterday were 11 cents lower!!!
The Maverik a mile or so down the road was holding at $3.33, which I think is a cash price. I guess they lost their ladder or number stick, and haven't been able to change their sign or something.
$3.45 Mid
$3.57 Premium
$3.99 Diesel
I filled up a delivery a couple of days ago and gas was in the 3.32 range.
I filled up my demo today and gas was 3.64.
I recently read that the Clintons made 109 million dollars since leaving the white house. I guess that was the pay-off for giving all our secrets to China.
Now I'm thinking that Bush is trying to better that amount by giving our wallets to the Saudis. Ain't politics great?

And our economy to China.
> wallets to the Saudis.
With ties to oil companies and processors what could we expect? Control?
2014 Malibu 2LT, 2015 Cruze 2LT,
Sunoco Regular has jumped from $3.27 on Thursday -> $3.33 on Friday ->$3.39 this morning!!!
Ultra is a psychopathic $3.65!
Somebody said that fuel prices will keep going in this direction as long as we're willing to pay the extortionists.

13 cent increase in 5 days!! :surprise:
I was fortunate enough to take advantage of the fact that the stations on the Parkway can only set their prices once a week so on Sunday it was still $3.17. Managed to get it up north where there's actually a Shell station. Most of the Parkway is Lukoil which is fine if you don't mid running your gasoline car on diesel and/or water.
Anyway, my fillup today was at the local Jewel's where the prices are the cheapest at $3.599 for 87, with the higher grades 10 cents higher each. Everyone else, except for Gas City, is running $3.69 for 87 octane on average, with premium running $3.91 average. Looking over my records the closest I came to this price was last May 29th where we topped out at $3.529. The prices dropped after that, teetering in the $3 range then started it's fast climb back well above first fillup in November.
Gas City, always highest on my commute, has the following listed:
87 octane for $3.799 (I think premium petrol is over $4 but couldn't make out the sign)
E85 for $3.299
Diesel for $4.499
A co-worker filled-up in Matteson yesterday (south suburb of Chi-town, near the Indy border) for $3.85 for regular!! Most areas in the city are very near or at $4.
87 - $3.499
89 - $3.639
93 - $3.799
I don't even want to know what diesel is there right now... :surprise:

Food is higher here at the grocery stores. We mostly buy fruits and vegetables at the various farmer' market. Still pretty reasonable and healthier eating.
No lines at even the cheapo Aloha gas stations. Shell has full service for $4.05 per gallon.
:shades:
87--$3.63
93--$3.83
The local rip-off Mobil had 93 octane at $3.97. Almost there. On the NYS Thruway I saw diesel at $4.52. And these bums just had the nerve to raise the tolls too! Welcome to NY truckers and tax-slave suckers.

Regular = $3.59
Silver = $3.71
Ultra = $3.83
Girlfriend hasn't filled-up since she was in California last week. She's in for a heck of a shock. Regular was $3.27 when she left. It's pure insanity how prices rose so steeply in a week.
i don't even look at the other prices.
Regular . . . $3.43
Mid . . . . . . $3.54
Premium . . $3.65
our company just marked out a big area of the parking lot for motorcycles.
i tell people we are starting to look like a glorified biker bar. :P
This puts most everyone at the $3.72 range for 87 octane petrol, except the following:
Citgo is at $3.70
Gas City is at $3.90, with E85 at $3.40 & diesel at $4.59
Speedway is at $3.78
I can't give more price detail as these are just the prices on my work commute. Last I heard the city was well past the $4 mark, for the past 3 weeks!!
The one thing I can't seem to come to grips with is the driving style of commuters over this past month. It seems the faster the prices rise the faster people drive. I mean, everyone here knows my routine / driving style so I won't go into that but lately people have been driving faster than bats out of "well"!! And not just the small vehicles, it's mostly been the SUVs / CUVs, full-size trucks and vans. Kats and kittens have been putting the hammer down like everything is a 1/4-mile, stoplight to stoplight drag race! I'm glad I didn't get that moped.
My only regret is that I didn't take the road trips I had planned while fuel was still in the low to mid-two dollar range. Oh well, at least the mileage on the pickup is kind of low considering the year. It's kind of a mixed feeling looking at my fuel logs the past 3 years to see how petrol prices have increased - if only my salary increased along the same lines.
Jae5 jogged my memory of traffic reports so I'm headed that way next..
