    That is a 1965 or 1966 Ford Mustang.

    So the pony has been removed from the grill? What about the letters F,O,R,D on the hood, and the V289 emblem on the side, and the side emblem of a mustang? Were all these elements usually there?

    I would say that they would normally be present, but could have been removed for one reason or another.

    No guarantee this was a 289 equipped car.

    Also it could have been in an accident and those trim pieces weren't replaced. Looks like the hood isn't on straight. Did that car end up getting destroyed later on?

    edit - it also has a body-colored bumper, those were always chromed.

    What show/movie was this from?

    OK, then that Mustang (perhaps the European version, the T5) has been worked on over the years, resulting in the changes we've noticed, which appear to include LED headlights.
