Help understanding lease cash incentives
I'm looking at leasing for the 1st time and through my research on negotiating leases I found this site and the page where you can ask for residual value on deals for leases in your area. When I inquired for my zip code (87114) I was given the following info for a SEL 24 months 12k miles: .00189 MF and 61% residual $13,500 lease cash. I took this to mean that if I went to the hyundai dealer I would be offered $13,500 off the vehicle for a lease. When I went there to speak with them they only offered $7500 and when I asked about any other rebates they said there wasn't any. I'm thinking perhaps I misunderstood the information I was given so I was hoping someone more experienced could possibly help me out.

Dealers aren't very forthcoming. During negotiation, they'd like you to think the incentives are less and their discount is bigger.
