Yeah, mine's like brand new too, but it took 3 weeks to get it back. Not so much because of a back order issue, but because I asked them to put a sport bumper in it's place. All worked out until the ICC sensor didn't line up and another X bumper had to be ordered.
That's what happens when a coyote jumps in front of you while doing 80 on the highway.
Dear All, I am just about to pull the trigger for purchasing the G35xS,Nav,Prem and tech next week, I have resarched this vehicle well but the only question I have for which I need your input is as noted below. Last week as I was checking out the car with the above configuration, I noted a small plastic plate at the lower left hand side of the front bumper, the dealer said that it is the "ICC unit" Now I drive 4-5 months out of the year on snow and salt covered ( snow and dirt with stones in reality ) roads in Wisconsin. As you can surmise that driving under such conditions gives a lot of beating to the underside and front of the car. So my guess is that the ICC control unit will not only take a lot of beating but will also not work correctly while being piled up under the thick layer of snow. Am I overanalyzing or would you agree in ditching the tech package for my situation ? Thanks
If the sensor gets dirty and you try to set the ICC, it will give you a readout on the center console that states that the sensor is dirty. The sensor is housed in a way that salt and debris will not affect it but if that front window is dirty, it won't function. Just hit it with a hose or a window cleaning squeegee and you're back in business.

No wonder there's a nationwide backorder. Heh. Got mine back yesterday, they did a great job.
