Hey, The cost to repair your moonroof completely from factory costs or dealership costs, puts you at about $500.00. If it makes a noise when you press the button, your motor for the moonroof is fine. The moonroof on my car slid off track, I know people around me who can fix it for a maximum of $250.00min. maybe $200.00. Your better off finding the lowest cost at an automotive shop and have them fix the track. If you can't here anything on that motor, then your guess to fix something could result in alot of money. Just have them check it out, that's the best anyone could tell you. because there are only two major thiings that could go wrong, the track and the motor. you make the call.
Hey everyone, I am also a new member. I have searched everywhere for any kind of performance upgrades and anything with the body, excluding Air intakes and exhausts and bodykits. These ventshades, WTF, I really need them for my car. How about interior styling,(neons don't matter, got the hook up). What about underneath the hood, the engine bay, Fluid caps(oil, coolant, transmission, etc.) I have searched and searched. Here is a real one, the damn headlights, who has a headlight that won't work or is offset from the driving setting. I want everything you got. .
Hello, Many others may know more than me when it comes to a cold air intake. but don't be fooled, I personally think it is impossible to put a cold air intake on a cougar, the fact being that the cold air intake is far more bigger than a short ram intake. Yes the intake does better in warmer weather, you save on better gas mileage and it is less costly for an upgrade. But if you have ever taken the time to check out where the factory air box is linked too, you will never beable to imagine how the cold air intake is supposed to hook-up to your car. There is a small hole just above the driver-side bumper on the inside next the splash shield on your car. Well a cold air intake, you have to put pipes through parts of your car, but seeing as how no real name manufaturer makes a cold air intake for our cars, there is no point in explaining any more details. And cooler air may be good for the intake but in the winter time, you want to take it off , put the old box on , so it doesn't freeze up your throttle body , and it takes longer for the car to heat up in the cold.
Ok, Short ram tuned and sure fit Air Intake Systems. Injen makes a great one. How about an exhaust kit, Monza/Pacesetter, they have a sweet system with the duals. How about tailight covers, black and sweet, they work perfectly. including headlight covers. Wheels, Mostly all the wheels you can get your hands on work well, Konig is limited selection. As far as spoilers go, only get what will fit on your trunk lid. Ventshades, have found no match for any cougar at any dealer.Although an older cougar might work for ventshade usage.Bodykits, limited but awesome.Lighting and strobes, limited on the strobes, freestyle on the lighting(neons, foglights,etc.). Sound Systems, your on your own, everyone has there own preference. Interior styling, limited to the point where your paying alot for a little. As far as underneath the hood, some cougars engines are big and some have room under there. No painting underneath and watch the hoses and wires. other than that , it's all I've got. oh and tailight and headlight modifications, like chrome on the inside or something unique, don't count on it unless you are loaded with cash.
Borla doesn't make an exact fit exhaust for the newer cougars, they have universals. Meaning you have to chop the product to fit underneath. Only Pacesetter has one, and if your the same guy who is saying how K&N has a full air intake for the newer cougars, they don't have that either. They have the factory filter , You don't go by the websites you travel. you go directly to the companies name. WeaponR and Injen make air intakes. If your not that guy who says that, I do appologize. but get your facts straight before you cause questions.or thicken the air.
I have the stock everything in my car. I just currently blew out my speakers. and I'm not sure what speakers would be the best in it, or system? Can some one help me figure out a good set up?
