As for "invoice pricing": For this trim line, Consumer Report's New Car kit gives a bottom-line price of about $25446; MSRP of approx. $27400; and a note-in-general that wiggle room on most new cars is about 4 to 8% below MSRP, wiggle being entirely dependent on a model’s supply and demand. Apparently, around here, my fellow rednecks have fallen in lurv with the Rogue. We’ve kept the price at or near MSRP. Particularly on the SL AWD with premium pkg, moonroof, leather, &tc. (We're probably driving the ridiculous high price of gas, too; frickin’ ted-gallon hat wearin’ Hummer-drivers...)
I'm 23 hrs away in EATX, but I'd be on Expedia.com PDQ meself if I hadn't blinked first and paid near MSRP like a dumb kid. The Murano was totaled, and for the first time ever, I was afoot. It was nuts, so I bolted to the Nissan dealer, who gave me a very nice end-of-year package of Wal*Mart electronics and tooleries. So maybe NEPA's price is a year-end deal...)
Opinions please for a Gotham gray SL AWD prem pkg, lthr pkg, mroof
total otd is 27761 (1562 tax incl). Is this reasonable ? Am not finding much inventory in CT and this car would have to be transported from NJ.
Thanks.
btw, you can buy Nissan Gold Preferred from any Nissan dealer, including your Rogue dealer. Price shop: There are some really great prices offered online. Any Nissan dealer will honor any Nissan Gold warranty, even if bought from an out-of-state dealer, according to what I’ve read. Best regards.
SL AWD
Premium, Leather, Moonroof, Mats, Mudguards.
27650 sticker
25650 selling price
To close the deal they also threw in dealer installed bumper guard, alum kick plates and touch up paint. When Rogue came in the sticker price was 27770. Don't know why it was higher but, it didn't affect the deal.
Actually that is correct what your sales schtick told told you!

A Rogue dealer would be a Nissan Dealer just for the record.

That is correct any Nissan dealer will take a Nissan warranty.

When we finally got our Rogue, they threw in a free car starter as an apology for the broken promises and bad buying experience...only to find out that they don't work on Rogues (when you get in, it won't allow you to turn the ignition...so you actually have to turn off the car and then start it normal). Oh well...
Aside from that, I absolutely love this car! The only complaint is the sound quality on the bluetooth for people on the other end of the line isn't very good. But given the price and the other benefits, this car is amazing.
I've received the following quote, which feels like a really good deal, but want to be sure others think so as well:
MSRP: $27,650.00
Sale Price: $23,499.00
As I understand it, "Invoice" on this vehicle is $25,478, making this $1,979 under invoice.
I'm also curious what everyone's thoughts are on the lease terms offered:
24 months @ 12k/year (plenty for me)
Money Rate: 0.00260
Residual: $19,078.50 (69%)
Cap Cost: $24,094.00 ($23,499 + $595 Nissan Acquisition Fee)
Monthly Payment: $346.12
Drive-Off Amount:
Doc Prep: $45.00
CA Tire Fee: $8.75
CA County Fee: $10.00
CA License Fee: $207.00
Sales Tax: $3.49 (no idea what this is on...)
+ First month
Total Drive Off = $620.36
(There's also a $350 security deposit which they say can be waived because of my good credit.)
Thoughts? Has anyone managed to get around Nissan's $595 acquisition fee? Seems to be there no matter where I look.
Thanks,
-Bill
I also got this price from Framingham Nissan, but they were trying to make money from finance. And refuse to sell me the car after I told them my own loan rate is much lower than theirs.
Did you jump on it?
3 months sattlite radio. I did not find any information on the manual.
Thanks
I would recommend them. Sales guy, Mike Sames, was nice and not pushy. They give you a 7yr/100k miles extended warranty with every new car purchase
I'm looking in the Bay right now as well.
My best advice get internet quotes and go into the dealership armed with info
and numbers do NOT share where you got your information. Just keep it with you for
those quiet times when you are negotiating your next counter. Also if they have
the exact model you want in stock you can get it for less at that dealer.
Thanks

2008 Rogue AWD SL Red, Premium, Moonroof, splashguards, mats for $23200. OTD will be in the $24944 range. Invoice is $23917 and MSRP is $25970.
What do you guys think? Good deal or do I deserve lower?
I didn't buy the extended warranty. I have owned a number of Nissan's and Infiniti's over the years. I have purchased the extended warranty and have never had to use it. I have only even had minor issues which arose well after the 100K mile mark and were, therefore, not covered.

I also love having the hatch-back - saves on bending for groceries and I can put the back seats down and carry larger things - always comes in handy and sorely missed when you need it and don't have it.
I'm also 6'5" and I fit in it nicely. My only complaints would be I'd like to have telescoping steering wheel - but I can live without it. Not that big a deal. The tires and rims look much better than when I test drove - now that they're cleaned up. Was tempted to get chrome rims, but... these seems pretty nice as is.
Also love the AUX jack. Sorely missed in the M35. Stuck using the stupid FM transmitters for 3 years. I said I'd never buy another car that didn't have an AUX jack. Most do these days, though.
Totall happy with the Rogue and I want to thank all the people who posted here. It helped me make my decision. Especially the people who posted pics of the spoiler and all that.
thx
I can imagine the roof would easily hold a kayak and the back could be outfitted for a bike carrier. The AWD is sweet; stereo awesome; and fun to drive! And I'm 6'5" and fit in it no problem.
