Hi xmjx. Audi Financial Services' September buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 A5 2.0 Coupe Prestige with 12,000 miles per year are .00161 and 54%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.
Other than loyalty cash, Audi is not currently providing any cash incentives on this car.

Let's work up a payment on this car and see what we come up with, toyoman8.
According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2012 A5 Coupe Premium quattro that has an MSRP of $41,200 and a selling price of $39,000 through Audi Financial Services right now for 36 months with 10,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment would be around $511.

Car man, please help me with getting a good deal on an Audi A5 convertible lease:
What would be the difference in the lease payment between a 2012 A5 convertible and a 2011 A5 convertible, similarly equipped (ie, automatic, navigation & satellite package), in CA?? I want a 36 mo lease, 12K miles, zero down.
Hi I am considering leasing a A5 prem plus coupe. 12k per year/36 or 39 months/0 down. I live in New York and plan to take delivery in November 2011. The MSRP is $44,705 and the selling price is $42,630. Can you tell me what you think the monthly lease would be or can you give me the money factor and residual? You have been extremely helpful every time I have needed to lease a car. Thanks
Hi I am interested in the Premium and possibly the Premium Plus(See post I sent before). The MSRP for the Premium is $41,099 and the invoice is $38,312 with a selling price of $39,312. The Premium Plus is $43,549(MSRP) and the invoice is $40,583 with a selling price of $41,312. The lease would be 36 months/12K per year. I live in NY(Westchester county). Can you provide me with what to expect to pay for this lease and or provide me with the residual value and money factor so I can know if the dealer is playing with those numbers. I expect to take delivery in late Nov or early Dec. 2011. You have been extremely helpful in the past and it is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Please let me know the money factor and residual for an A5 Cabriolet premium plus, 10,000 miles per year, for 36,39 and for 48 months for delivery this month (October). Thanks!
Hello, I live in Arizona, & every dealership is quoting me my Money Factor from .00204 to .00231 for a A5 3 year lease 36,000 miles. I have excellent credit & should qualify for their top tier credit, is anyone getting anything lower? Car_man have these numbers changed or are they playing hardball?
sounds like a terrible deal...take a look back a few pages & look at what others are paying...to figure out your payment you will need MSRP, Sales Price, Residual Value, & Money Factor. You shouldn't have to put any money down either.
to figure out what your payment should be, you need to get your Residual Value and Money Factor...here's a breakdown on how to determine your payment.
You take your sales price ($44,300) and subtract it from your residual value to get this you multiply your MSRP ($44,700) by the percent they give, lets' say it's 58%, 44,700 x .58 = 25,926 so it's 44,300 - 25,926 = 18,371 divided by lease term 36 or how ever many months it is, 18,371/36 = $510.30, this is your depreciation price.
than you add your sales price $44,300 and Residual Value 25,926 and multiply by your money factor, let's say it's .00161, so the formula is 44,300 + 25,926 = 70,226 X's .00161 = $113.06, this is your finance price.
you add your depreciation price and your finance price $510.30 + $113.06 = $623.36 with nothing down
anything you put down you knock of your sales price, I would also think you could knock 1-2k off your sales price.
Yeah - I'm not sure of the residual. He did tell me if I came back after the lease to buy it'd be around 20k. The money factor right now is at 5.9% which I feel can be much lower with my dad's credit attached as co-buyer? Not sure if you would agree to that.
Hi lovefynn. If you provide me with the MSRPs and approximate selling prices, or at least the MSRPs and dealer invoice prices, of the cars that you are interested in I will gladly use Audi's actual lease program to estimate some payments for you.

Hey rxke. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2012 Audi A5 Coupe Premium Plus that has an MSRP of $44,705 and a selling price of $42,630 through Audi Financial Services' right now for 36-months with 12,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment would be around $598.
I used a money factor of .00161 and a residual value of 56% to calculate this payment.

Here's the information that you're looking for, asolare1.
Audi Financial Services' October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 A5 Cabriolet Premium Plus non-quattro with 10,000 miles per year are .00130 and 56%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 48-month lease are .00184 and 49%.

Audi a5: Moonlight blue, with the premium plus packge, sports package (black leather), navi, mats, bang and olufsen, exhaust tips, wheel locks, wood inlay, rear parking sensors, advanced key. Total 49202 - 1802= 47400
Looking for both 36 mo, 15 per year and 36 mo, 12 per year. Quoted residual today was .55 (15k) and .57 (12K).
Lease factor quoted was .00158
Based on this, looks to me like: 49202 * .55= 27061.1 then 47400-27061.1= 20338.90/ 36= 564.97 +
47400+27061.1=74461.1 * .00158 = 117.65
564.97+117.65= 682.62 plus tax tags, lic, etc... with nothing down. Does the 682.62 sound accurate?
15k per year for three years. I'm considering paying 4000 up front, which would pay for taxes, tags, registration, etc. and some extra. I'm in NJ and my sales tax is 7% my doc fee is 197, license plate is 311, and title is 60.
A 12k per year would look like this?
49202 * .57= 28045.14 then 47400-28045.14 = 19354.86/ 36= 537.64+
47400+28045.14 =75445.14 * .00158 = 119.20
totalling $656.84 per month, plus tax ttl, tags, and doc fee.
Am I on the right track?
I haven't even begun negotiating yet, but feel i may be able to work another 2k off sales price.

I'm looking at a new 2011 A5 cab lease/purchase - premium plus with navigation. Dealer price is $47,999 - is that a good price on a 2011, the 2012 models are rolling in so maybe i can get a better deal on the 2011? What would be a good 36 month lease payment for this - total walk-out price is $49,178.48 with zero down. MSRP is listed at $52,360. Thanks!
Greetings to the appropriately named a5seeker. Given the dealer cash that is available on the 2011 A5 Cabrio I personally would want a lower selling price than dealer invoice. I personally would shoot for at $1,000 under and see what happens.

Also test drove an S5 while we were waiting around and was able to take it on the freeway which was nice. Hit 100 mph without a peep from the salesperson.
I'm struggling and not sure what I'm missing...I have what I think is a good offer on a 2012 A5 Premium plus lease with Sport package, wood inlays and audi care in meteor grey.
MSRP including destination is $44,900 Cap cost is $43,170 or about $500 over invoice, which i think is a good deal. Up front about $2K for inception fees. Tax = 7% MF = .00179 42 months 12K miles per year Residual = .54 (includes extra .01 for audi care)
When i use my own Excel calculations or any number of online calculators i get a monthly payment of $611 including tax.
The audi dealer is reading off all the same numbers but coming in at $643/mo using the Audi screens at the dealership.
Car is under $45K so no lux tax and he verified this. I can't think of anything else that could be causing the difference.
So... the CAP cost is either higher (with something added in), or the money factor and residuals aren't accurate..

Thanks for all of the information you provide. I am looking for something similar to cxxviii128. I am looking to lease an A5 Premium Cabriolet quattro. MSRP is 47025, and I have a sales price of $45200. Dealer came back with a 55% residual and .00215 MF. I'm thinking I should be able to get the lease around $650 a month, but that was with a 57% and .00138 that you had quoted in December. Dealer lease number is around $800. Do you have different buy rates for the A5 Cab quattro?
I am looking at the above in Dallas, Tx. The MSRP is $49,650 and the dealer has indicated a willingness to discount it by $1,250. On a 42 month lease they're giving me a MF of .00267 and a residual of 46%. The MF seems really high. The dealer indicated the MF was for their top credit tier. What is the current residual and MF?
This is my first time leasing a car and I hear you are the "Go To" guy. I am trying to find the MF buy rate and residual value % on a 36M/12 or 15 month lease. Also, are there any marketing promotions or manufacturer to dealer incentives? Thank you!
You're very welcome kookyterp. The 55% residual value that you were quoted is correct for a 12,000 mile per year lease of this car, but the money factor that you were quoted is way out of whack. Audi Financial Services' January buy rate for the 2012 A5 Premium Cabriolet with quattro is only .00120 for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier
I suspect that the dealer is attempting to mark your car's money factor up to add additional back-end profit to your deal.

I am interested in leasing an 2012 A5 Premium Cabriolet for 36 months at 10K miles per year or at 48 months at 10K miles per year. Could you provide me with the current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for each?
I went to a dealer in central FL today for a service appointment. While waiting I discussed a lease on an A5 Premium Plus. I currently have a lease on an Audi Q5 that is due up in a few months. The dealer checked to see if I had any equity in the Q5. Turns out I have $2k in equity.
The MSRP on the A5 I picked out is $45,000. The dealer said he would sell it for $43,987. The dealer also mentioned Audi is offering loyalty money of $750. Could I please get your MF and residual figures along with payment amounts for a zero down 36 month lease with 10k and 12k annual miles. Please factor in the $2k equity on the Q5 and the loyalty money.
Comments
Other than loyalty cash, Audi is not currently providing any cash incentives on this car.

I am interested in the Premium and possibly the Premium Plus(See post I sent before). The MSRP for the Premium is $41,099 and the invoice is $38,312 with a selling price of $39,312. The Premium Plus is $43,549(MSRP) and the invoice is $40,583 with a selling price of $41,312.

Please let me know the money factor and residual for an A5 Cabriolet premium plus, 10,000 miles per year, for 36,39 and for 48 months for delivery this month (October). Thanks!
MSRP is 44,700 and they're offering a lease at an asking price of 44,300 - basically 600 off and $700 a month for 48 months.
I'm also putting 4000 down. This is at 12k miles a year with a 800 dollar maintenance packaged included.
I'm new at this leasing stuff so please advise - how low do you think I can get the asking price and payment down to?
Guy said he might be able to get down to 650 - I'm looking more for 600 with a down payment of 2000-2500.
You take your sales price ($44,300) and subtract it from your residual value to get this you multiply your MSRP ($44,700) by the percent they give, lets' say it's 58%, 44,700 x .58 = 25,926 so it's 44,300 - 25,926 = 18,371 divided by lease term 36 or how ever many months it is, 18,371/36 = $510.30, this is your depreciation price.
than you add your sales price $44,300 and Residual Value 25,926 and multiply by your money factor, let's say it's .00161, so the formula is 44,300 + 25,926 = 70,226 X's .00161 = $113.06, this is your finance price.
you add your depreciation price and your finance price $510.30 + $113.06 = $623.36 with nothing down
anything you put down you knock of your sales price, I would also think you could knock 1-2k off your sales price.

plus audi care please let me know. i am feeling pressured
I'm looking to order a 2012 A5 Conv quattro. Can you provide the MF and residual for this particular model assuming 10k mile and 36 months?
Also, would you have any inside info on when 2013 A5 supposed to arrive? Several local dealers I spoke to have said that 2012 may be difficult to order now because Audi is going to switch to 2013 model early in calendar year 2012.
I know that A5 is being redesigned for 2013, but I haven't heard anything about when the new model will begin to arrive at dealers.

Purchase price will be around $52K if that matters
Lease term either 36 or 42 months.

Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance.
Scott
This is my first time leasing a car and I hear you are the "Go To" guy. I am trying to find the MF buy rate and residual value % on a 36M/12 or 15 month lease. Also, are there any marketing promotions or manufacturer to dealer incentives? Thank you!
I suspect that the dealer is attempting to mark your car's money factor up to add additional back-end profit to your deal.

Can you tell me the current buy rate for the MF and residual for a 15k/year, 36 month lease on an A5 coupe prestige Auto transmission in Southern California? The MSRP is $49,500 ... I've gotten two different quotes from separate dealerships with different MFs. Also, are there any manufacturer to dealer incentives on this car? Or should i be happy if I get close to invoice price for a cap cost? Thanks, Alex
The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a Prestige model are .00198 and 43%.

Thanks.
Thank you.
May I know how dealer come up with $2k equity?
