DO NOT let them fool you. They can scan the history of trouble codes for over 100 key cycles, so they can certainly see something from yesterday.

You're not bugging me - I help consumers for a living - this is an acceptable aside.
Leave corporate out of it for now - deal directly with the dealer you purchased from - kicking the dealer out of the loop and involving corporate will only make things crawl towards a resolution.
